Supported File Types
Currently, OmniGIF only accepts GIF files as input. The file size must be under 10MB for optimal performance.
Output Formats
WebP: Best for web use with 25-35% smaller file sizes. PNG: Perfect for static images with transparency. APNG: Better color support but limited browser compatibility. Frames: Extract individual frames as PNG images.
Browser Compatibility
OmniGIF works on all modern browsers. For APNG format, we recommend using Firefox or Safari for best results.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues: Check file size (must be under 10MB), ensure the file is a valid GIF, try refreshing the page, or use a different browser.
Performance Tips
For best performance: Use smaller GIF files when possible, close other browser tabs to free up memory, and ensure you have a stable internet connection.
