How it works
Right-click any image and choose “Send to OmniGIF”, or open the extension picker and click a page element. Works on standard img tags and many blocked right-click sites via the element picker.
The extension detects the image source and opens OmniGIF with the image URL ready. Your pixels go from the current tab to omnigif.com — no third-party upload server in the middle.
A new tab opens OmniGIF’s import picker with your image loaded. Convert, crop, compress, watermark, extract frames — skip the save-and-upload loop entirely.
Send images from AI art platforms, stock libraries, social feeds, cloud drives, and everyday websites — then process them with OmniGIF’s free local tools.
Privacy by design — the extension exists to shorten the path from browsing to local processing on OmniGIF.
Data flows between your browser and www.omnigif.com. OmniGIF tools process files locally in the browser after import.
Install and use immediately. No sign-up, no login, no account binding for the extension or the website.
We use privacy-respecting product analytics on the website. The extension does not upload your image content to analytics servers.
Removing the extension from Chrome clears its local data. Nothing is stored on OmniGIF servers for the send flow.

Reveal a floating OmniGIF icon on large images so you can send without opening the right-click menu.
Extract multiple images from the current page and send them to OmniGIF in one batch.
Ship companion packages for Microsoft Edge Add-ons and Firefox Add-ons with the same privacy-first handoff.
Use the offline package when the Chrome Web Store is unavailable.
